A lot of people are asking me: Do you only do photography now?

The answer is no. I’ve always had a love for photography but I found it really difficult to capture onto film what I had in my mind. I found that my pictures never looked the way I wanted it. Now that I have some time, I really decided that I would spend the money and time into this. 

Drawing is much more natural and easier to me. However, I like the challenges and the new process that comes with photography. Don’t get me wrong, I itch to draw everyday but I think everyone needs to explore other mediums in order to grow as an artist. 

I find myself noticing details a lot more and thinking about the direction of the light when I illustrate. In fact, I’ll have some new illustrations up this coming week!

Sometimes you need get away to help find new inspirations.

I feel like i’m in an art “rut”. I’m trying some new things and hopefully, I’ll be able to find my voice again.
